Dr. Leonard Menczer developped during nine years a world-wide campaign to obtain from his country's Post Service the emission of a commemorative stamp honoring Horacio Wells, in occasion to remember the 150 anniversary of the first application for a tooth extraction of anesthesy by means of gases. This brave and noble attitude in order to regain Wells' merits, serves us as an example of perseverance, conviction and deep love for the taken cause.
